Attorney Chuck Michel, who represents the NRA and the California Rifle & Pistol Association (CRPA), talks to Cam Edwards about the lawsuit filed by the NRA-CRPA Foundation Legal Action Project with the aim to stop California Assembly Bill 962. The bill, which would set up a restrictive and expensive ammunition registration, is challenged on the grounds that it is vaguely worded and incomprehensible from the point of view of law enforcement. Michel points out that a California sheriff is the primary plaintiff in the case, and he says that law enforcement officials across the state are beginning to speak up about the impracticality of the bill.
