Norman Perryman Strikes a Plea Bargain

Cam Edwards tells the story of Norman Perryman, a 34-year-old criminal in Indianapolis, Indiana, who has been charged with armed robbery, burglary, criminal confinement and criminal recklessness with a deadly weapon. In exchange for pleading guilty to these crimes, prosecutors have agreed to waive four additional felony charges and will not file a habitual offender charge. As his sentences will run simultaneously, the maximum time that Perryman will have to serve in jail is 20 years, and if he keeps his nose clean, it is likely he will only serve 10. That's today's Deal of the Day.
