Jeffrey Muller, 60, a former New Jersey kidnap victim who is testifying against the attackers who tased him and held him at gunpoint, has been denied a concealed-carry permit by the courts. Muller was granted permission for the permit by the police, but judges have the final word. Cam Edwards speaks with Evan Nappen, New Jersey Firearms Attorney, who says the court system in his state has twisted the undefined term "justifiable need" for the purposes of the carry permit requirement to basically mean that a person has to show a need for self-defense before they need self-defense.
