On tonight's Deal of the Day, Cam Edwards reports that Terry Lemon, 26, of Trenton, New Jersey was convicted for fatally shooting apparent gang member Arnold Poole after a fight at a hairstyling show. The judge who sentenced Lemon called attention to the killer's difficult childhood and expressed hope that he would turn his life around. Lemon received an especially light sentence for manslaughter and could be out of prison in roughly ten years. Edwards also reports that a law enforcement coalition in Tennessee is pushing to increase the percentage of their sentences that armed robbers actually spend in jail from 30% to 74%.
