Right-to-carry legislation continues to gather more support in the state of Illinois despite opposition from the Chicago. Cam Edwards speaks with NRA Illinois Lobbyist Todd Vandermyde who says that more and more law enforcement groups have given their express support of the measure, most recently the Illinois Association of Chiefs of Police. Several provisions have been made to the bill per the law enforcement groups' requests such as a requirement that citizens who are stopped by officers notify the officer up front that they are carrying. Vandermyde says that the bill is still very much intact, however, and remains a well-crafted piece of legislation. Originally aired 3/30/2011.
