The Montana Senate has voted 29-21 in favor of House Bill 271, legislation that would allow law-abiding citizens in the state to carry concealed firearms without a concealed-carry permit. This 'Permitless Carry' Bill has passed the House, but must now go through again since several new amendments were attached in the Senate committee. Cam Edwards speaks with NRA-ILA Montana State Liaison Brian Judy who explains that the bill is still under improvement-as of now, those carrying without a permit would still have to complete a training course and carry proof of their attendance at all times.
