Missouri Governor Jay Nixon (D) has signed House Bill 1692 into law, legislation that includes several excellent provisions for gun owners' rights in the Show-Me State including an expansion of the state's Castle Doctrine protections to any property boundaries one leases or owns, a cap to the sheriff fee at $10 for Missouri right-to-carry permit holders who change addresses, permission for a prosecutor with a right-to-carry permit to carry in a courthouse and, with the judge's approval, in the courtroom as well, and the bill also brings Missouri's gun laws into compliance with federal law, exempting antique firearms from "unlawful possession" citations. Cam Edwards speaks with NRA-ILA MO State Liaison Ashely Varner about this stellar news for Missouri gun owners. Originally aired 7/19/2010.
