Cam Edwards speaks with Hans von Spakovsky, Senior Legal Fellow at the Heritage Center for Legal and Judicial Studies, about the new Military Voter Protection Project (MVPP). In the 2010 midterm elections, 16% of military voters requested absentee ballots and only 4.6% were counted according to the MVPP's study. Spakovsky says the project is meant to protect these voters and the particular difficulties associated with exercising their voting rights from overseas. Originally aired 7/18/2011.
