On March 11, 1968, Chief Master Sergeant Richard Etchberger was in Laos when his troops fell under enemy attack. Through an onslaught of gunfire, Etchberger held off enemy fighters advancing on his secret radar facility to load his wounded comrades on an evacuation helicopter. Etchberger was shot and killed as the helicopter flew away. He is now awarded with the Medal of Honor, an honor that has not been given to an airman since the year 2000. Cam Edwards speaks with Col. Doug Galipeau, USAF (Retired), about Etchberger's heroic story. Originally aired 9/22/2010.
