Chicago and Buffalo, New York, fail to take guns from criminals. On today's McCarville Minute, Mike McCarville discusses the supposed success of Chicago's gun buyback program, which has taken thousands of firearms out of circulation. He points out that none of these guns are known to have been turned in by criminals, so it appears that Chicago is only managing to disarm its law-abiding citizens. A newer buyback program in Buffalo has likewise failed to deter crime in the city.
