Cam Edwards speaks to Greg Conner, match director at the NRA's Whittington Center in Raton, New Mexico, about the ongoing 2010 NRA National Silhouette Championships in the Cowboy Lever Action category. Conner explains that this event, which uses only lever-action rifles, provides an opportunity for less experienced shooters to quickly become competitive. Lever-action rifles are often handed down as family keepsakes, and new .22-gauge rifles can be acquired relatively inexpensively. Conner also discusses the activities for children at the event, which is designed to be fun for the entire family. Originally aired 8/3/2010.
