Sheriff Paul Babeu of Pinal County, Arizona, joins Ginny Simone to discuss a massive drug bust that is believed to have involved a branch of the dangerous Sinaloa Mexican drug cartel. The smuggling ring that was brought down by Pinal County Sheriff's Office as well as ICE's Homeland Security Investigations is estimated to carry $33 million in drugs through Arizona every month. Authorities have arrested 76 suspected smugglers, seized 61,000 pounds of marijuana, 160 pounds of heroin, 210 pounds of cocaine and nearly $760,000 in cash. Babeu says that the cartels can regenerate rapidly, are extremely sophisticated and require a more active pursuit if the U.S. wants to stop the ongoing problem. Originally aired 10/31/11.
