The Maryland House Judiciary Committee is scheduled to hear Senate Bill 411, legislation that would provide civil immunity from damages when force, including deadly force, is used and reasonable to repel an attack in a law abiding citizen's home or place of business. If passed Maryland residents not only could not be sued by criminals whom they were forced to defend themselves against, but also would not have to pay legal fees if they prevail under this act in the course of a civil lawsuit. Maryland pro-gun activist Jim Purtilo discusses the bill with Cam Edwards.
