David Martosko, Director of Research at the Center for Consumer Freedom and creator of the popular website HumaneWatch.org, talks to Cam Edwards about new developments in the world of animal-rights extremists. According to President Wayne Pacelle of the Humane Society of the United States (HSUS), the "wolves win" in a federal court decision extending protected status to all gray wolves because those in Wyoming are still listed as protected. Martosko points out that it is no longer legal to defend one's property from the wolves, which are growing too populous. People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) is targeting a former American Idol contestant who hosts a hunting television series, but she is using the opportunity to show off the proud legacy of conservation among hunters. And finally, Martosko was able to find old statements of HSUS Chief Operations Officer Michael Markarian defending the illegal and destructive activities of the Animal Liberation Front.
