On this edition of Deal of the Day, Cam Edwards shares a story from California where Samuel C. Hendrickson, 19, was charged with involuntary manslaughter after he punched his mother in the face, and she died from the injury one hour later. Hendrickson was jailed for 68 days after his arrest, but the judge ruled that he would serve no more jail time. Instead, he has a suspended 2-year sentence and will be on probation for 3 years. Hendrickson admitted to a history of physical abuse against his mother, and at the time of the incident, he had just been released from juvenile detention and was sleeping off a drug binge.
