Jim Wallace, executive director of the Gun Owners Action League (GOAL) in Massachusetts, talks with Cam Edwards about House Bill 4102 that is under consideration with the House Ways and Means Committee. Among other things, this legislation would limit firearm purchases to one per 30-day period and require that the private transfer of all firearms, even those between family and friends, be conducted through a federally licensed firearms dealer. Wallace reports that the committee took a pre-poll of the lawmakers' feelings toward anti-gun Governor Deval Patrick's bill, a practice that was conducted somewhat unethically. He urges gun owners in the state to contact their legislators and ask them to vote against House Bill 4102. Originally aired 7/9/2010.
