West Mifflin, Pennsylvania is the 21st city or town in the Commonwealth to pass a "Lost or Stolen" gun control ordinance. In direct violation of state preemption laws, these ordinances require the victims of a crime to report any lost or stolen firearms within 72 hours of the incident. John Popp speaks with NRA-ILA Pennsylvania State Liaison John Hohenwarter about the situation and the problems with these laws. Hohenwarter says that, first, these laws are ineffective; second, that they are the only laws in the state that require the mandatory reporting of any item; and third, they criminalize the victims of crimes!
