Canadian Parliament voted abolishment in second reading by 37 votes. Cam Edwards speaks with an elated Tony Bernardo, executive director of the Canadian Institute for Legislative Action, about the excellent news from across the border. The long-gun registry, an expensive, 13-year measure that has been entirely ineffective in lowering crime rates, is on its way out. Bernardo discusses the history of the law and the opposition to it, and he explains what processes the abolishment bill must survive to finally put an end to this gun control measure.
