Clayton Smith, Campus Coordinator for the Tarrant County College chapter of Students for Concealed Carry on Campus (SCCC) talks to Cam Edwards about the status of the group's lawsuit against the school. Back in April 2008, SCCC's request to stage an empty-holster protest at Tarrant County College was denied, and they were only allowed to distribute fliers within a small "designated free-speech zone." The school's interim chancellor recently testified that the administrators were afraid a student would bring a gun to the protest, to which the judge responded that "undifferentiated fear" is not a valid reason to suppress free speech.
