This year Iowa will have its first mourning dove hunting season since 1918, but several anti-gun lawmakers have been trying to ban the traditional lead ammunition that is generally used for these hunts. The state has recently decided that lead shot will be allowed this year, though NRA-ILA Hunting Policy Liaison Lacey Biles tells Cam Edwards that the ammunition ban will still be an issue in the upcoming legislative session.
