Debates host Andrea Mitchell on right-to-carry reciprocity. Cam Edwards rolls a clip from MSNBC of NRA Executive Vice President Wayne LaPierre defending the Thune-Vitter Amendment. He states that since the NRA took up the cause of concealed carry, the number of states issuing permits has gone from 3 to 40, and several states already have the sort of reciprocity agreements which the Amendment meant to standardize. Mitchell and LaPierre argue about whether "rank-and-file" officers tend to support gun control measures, and whether New York Police Commissioner Ray Kelly has taken up an anti-gun stance for political reasons.
