Cam Edwards speaks with Dave Kopel, Research Director for the Independence Institute, about several major international stories concerning gun control issues. In Canada, the battle continues over the costly and ineffective long gun registry while the media tries to defend the law by associating the opposition with the NRA. In Ireland, the prime minister has also used an association with the United States to defend gun control claiming that if they do not ban all guns now, then ownership will grow exponentially until Ireland's per capita gun ownership is the same as in the U.S. Jamaica, a county that already has very strict gun control and high crime rates, has decided to promote a "gun amnesty" day allowing those in illegal possession of a firearm to turn in their guns, no questions asked.
