On this edition of Deal of the Day, Cam Edwards shares a story from Knoxville, Tennessee where Michael "Snake" Robinson, 52, pleaded guilty to charges of brandishing a firearm and being a felon in possession of a firearm in a 2010 robbery. Prosecutors are trying to designate Robinson as a "career criminal" due to his lengthy history that will carry a 22-year minimum mandatory sentence. What makes Robinson the Deal of the Day, however, is that he was convicted of his part in the killing of former Golden Gloves boxer Patrick Alley in 1995 and sentenced to 12 years in prison, but he was already out in 2000. He was, of course, back in jail immediately thereafter and never stopped his career of crime to this day. Originally aired 4/14/2011.
