NRA Past President and Delaware native John Sigler discusses the legal victory in the NRA-backed appeal, Doe v. Wilmington Housing Authority. With the support of the NRA, 75-year-old "Jane Doe" sued the WHA, challenging its revised firearms policy. The Delaware Supreme Court and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third District affirmed the Second Amendment, determined that the WHA exceeded its authority, and struck down all of its regulations. All four Delaware housing authorities have agreed to comply with the decision. Doe may Keep and Bear Arms without interference from the WHA, and fear of eviction.
