Sotomayor's two-faced performance at the confirmation hearings. National Review contributor and conservative columnist Jim Geraghty muses to Cam Edwards that Supreme Court Nominee Judge Sotomayor could have a split personality disorder given that she cannot seem to decide whether she is unbiased or completely opinionated-especially on the issue of incorporation of the Second Amendment. While she reluctantly concedes that the Second Amendment is an individual right as held by the Heller decision, Geraghty points out that she has said that there both is and is not a way of determining whether it is a fundamental right, and her thinking on the subject is completely opaque as she dodges question after question about her personal views.
