A new Gallup poll reports that less than half of Americans say they favor stricter gun laws, at 47 percent. In 2012, Gallup reported that 58 percent favored more gun control laws. Jennifer Jacques of the Guns and Curves blog discusses the numbers, and the near record-high percentage of Americans, 73 percent, that say guns should not be banned.
