Illinois State Senator John O. Jones (R-Mt. Vernon) talks to Cam Edwards about the bill allowing concealed carry that he will introduce in the state legislature. Jones says that he has been bringing legislation like this forward for 16 years, but he is optimistic that the political climate will be more favorable in the wake of McDonald v. City of Chicago. He also discusses the new lawsuit, supported by the NRA, which challenges Chicago's restrictive new firearm regulations. Originally aired 7/6/2010.
