Illinois Attorney General Lisa Madigan has ordered the release of names of persons who hold Firearms Owner Identification Cards (FOID) in the state to public record. The release has been halted by a court order, and House Bill 3500, legislation that would protect Illinois gun owners' privacy, is currently pending. Cam Edwards speaks with Elisabeth Meinecke, Associate Editor of Townhall.com about her article "Illinois Gun Owners' Privacy Under Attack." Meinecke says the Attorney General is claiming this is "not a gun control issue." Originally aired 3/25/2011.
