In New York, Mayor Michael Bloomberg continues to push for the passage of a micro-stamping bill, despite abundant evidence that the technology is flawed and ineffective at preventing crime. Three anti-gun bills under consideration by the California legislature would set up a long-gun registry, ban open carry and prohibit the use of lead ammunition in state hunting areas. And in Delaware, a House bill to prevent public housing authorities from banning firearms for tenants has passed to the Senate with the addition of an amendment by anti-gun legislators.
