On tonight's ILA Report, NRA-ILA Media Liaison Alexa Fritts tells Cam Edwards that the NRA is officially opposing the nomination of Elena Kagan to the United States Supreme Court. Executive Vice President Wayne LaPierre has also made it clear to those in Congress that the NRA is paying attention to how they vote on the nomination. Fritts says that Kagan has demonstrated consistent hostility to the individual right to bear arms throughout her career. In other news, Chicago Mayor Richard Daley introduced a new city ordinance that would severely restrict gun rights inside the city. Some of the restrictions would include limiting each household to one operational handgun and prohibiting the use of the gun outside the house, even in the garage or yard. Originally aired 7/1/2010.
