Since Illinois House Bill 148, The Family and Personal Protection Act, fell short of the supermajority vote, pro-gunners have continued to fight for the right of Illinois citizens to defend themselves outside of the home. Cam Edwards speaks with Richard Pearson of the Illinois State Rifle Association who explains that they are still working on right-to-carry legislation, but several lawsuits have also been filed against the state for unconstitutionally banning carry-cases such as Shepard v. Madigan. Originally aired 5/27/2011.
