Illinois organization votes in favor of right-to-carry legislation. Cam Edwards speaks with NRA Illinois Lobbyist Todd Vandermyde about the 95th Annual Meeting of the Illinois Farm Bureau where the group approved language supporting the implementation of concealed-carry legislation in the state. The Bureau voted to support requirements that the State of Illinois issue permits for carrying concealed firearms and that gun owners complete an application process. Vandermyde says that this vote is a result of the grassroots efforts of NRA members who are making their voices heard-especially as the Supreme Court case McDonald v. City of Chicago moves forward.
