IL Concealed Carry Bill May Get Second Shot

Last week, legislation that would have allowed licensed Illinois citizens the right to carry concealed firearms outside of the home fell just shy of the supermajority vote needed for it to pass. However, State Representative Mike Unes, a chief co-sponsor of the bill, says the legislation is still under discussion and may be brought back to the House floor before the 2011 session draws to a close.
