Legislation has been introduced by Idaho Senators Mike Crapo and Jim Risch and Congressman Raul Labrador that would amend the Endangered Species Act (ESA) to permit actions carried out against grizzly bears in self-defense situations. Cam Edwards speaks with Sen. Crapo about the bill that follows a case in which an Idaho man protected himself and his family against a grizzly bear. The man was charged with violating the ESA due to the current ambiguities. Originally aired 9/16/2011.
