On tonight's Deal of the Day, Cam Edwards shares a story from Cedar Rapids, Iowa where Bernard Butler, 18, allegedly shot 34-year-old Cortez Parker at Los Cocos bar last August. Initially charged with attempted murder, Butler took a plea agreement that reduced his crimes to armed with intent and intimidation with a dangerous weapon (but not actually to shooting the man who was decidedly shot at the same time and place) in exchange for a guilty plea. If the terms of the agreement are accepted, Butler will serve no jail time and will only be placed at a halfway house for these offenses.
