In Missouri, the Humane Society of the United States (HSUS) has raised $3 million to push a "Puppy Mill" ballot amendment. The measure would, among other things, place unreasonable regulations on farmers and breeders who own more than 50 animals, making it impossible to stay in business. Cam Edwards speaks with Dave Martosko, Director of Research for the Center for Consumer Freedom and blogger for HumaneWatch.org, who says this is the first bill that would regulate how many animals a person can have, and the slippery slope implications for livestock farmers could be devastating.
