Three years ago, Errol Houston had his gun confiscated during a traffic stop in New Orleans. Since then, he has been trying to get his lawfully owned firearm back from the Police Department since he was never charged with a crime, but they have refused. The ACLU has filed a lawsuit against the D.A., and the NRA has just filed an Amicus Brief in Mr. Houston's case that is now in the hands of the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals. Ginny Simone speaks with Attorney Steve Halbrook who says the New Orleans Police Department is determined to enforce its "blanket seizure policy" on firearms, just like it did during Hurricane Katrina.
