Montgomery is classified as a habitual felony offender and was found guilty this time of 2 counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon as well as 2 counts of assault. His criminal record in Florida dates back to the 1980s with 19 prior felony convictions and over 25 misdemeanor convictions. Prior to those, he also served prison time in New York.
