Panel debates whether guns in schools could prevent violence. Greg White, sheriff of Cole County, Missouri, joins Cam Edwards by phone to discuss his participation in a recent conference sponsored by the Missouri School Boards' Association (MSBA). White, who formerly served as a school resource officer, argues that responsible concealed-carry permit holders should be allowed to exercise their rights on school campuses, and describes their shooting skills as often on par with those of police officers. He also points out safety problems on the K-12 level, such as unarmed school security guards who would be helpless in a shooting scenario.
