On tonight's Deal of the Day, Cam Edwards contrasts two good sentences for felony possession of a firearm with one bad outcome. Ernest A. White of Seattle, Washington was sentenced to eight years in prison after police found a stolen firearm in the felon's luggage at Sea-Tac Airport. And Tyson Garza of Helena, Montana, who has a lengthy criminal record, was sentenced to 87 months for robbing an alleged drug dealer with a "borrowed" firearm. Meanwhile, Danzel Blackmon of Detroit, Michigan was given a sentence of two years to seven year six months for felony firearms possession, which Edwards points out could allow him to be released after one year for good behavior.
