On tonight's Liberty Update, Vice President of Legal and Public Affairs at the Center for Individual Freedom (CFIF) Tim Lee talks to Cam Edwards about a speech given by President Obama in Shanghai, China. Lee says that Obama touts free speech to other nations but is busy attacking critics and defending "fair speech" initiatives at home. Lee and Edwards also examine the poisonous atmosphere for gun rights in England, as shown in the case of Paul Clarke, arrested and convicted of a crime after he found a shotgun in his yard and delivered it to local police. They note that crime rates continue to rise in England as citizens are disarmed and a "surveillance society" becomes the norm.
