Lieutenant Harry Thomas of Indiana, a former NRA board member and a retired police officer with 22-years on the force, has just been found "not guilty" for firing a warning shot near a dog that was attacking his leg. The prosecution and the arresting officers claimed that because Thomas did not use lethal force, the "warning shot" could not have been necessary for Thomas's self-defense. Fortunately, the judge saw it differently, and Thomas tells Ginny Simone that this decision will have a great impact on the gun owning community. Originally aired 3/30/2011.
