Unable to move toward an ordinance that would violate state preemption laws, Lee County, Florida commissioners plan to ask the state legislature to change state law to include county parks in the list of places that gun owners will not be allowed to take concealed firearms-even with a concealed carry permit. Ginny Simone speaks with NRA Past President Marion Hammer who says the Lee County Commissioners have their work cut out for them in convincing Florida lawmakers to move toward this restrictive gun control measure.
