Eagle Scout Suspended

West Point-bound high school senior suspended for car survival kit. Cam Edwards sits down with Jim Geraghty, National Review Online Campaign Spot blogger, to talk about zero tolerance laws and how they have affected the lives of kids such as Matthew Whalen, an all-American good student and person, who had an inch-and-a-half long pocket knife in his locked vehicle on school grounds as part of a car survival kit. Under zero tolerance laws, Whalen has been refused his appeal and has received a 20-day suspension that may destroy his lifelong dream to attend West Point.
