At The Huffington Post, pediatrician Dr. Kristie Rivers has written a post entitled, "The Questions I Can't Ask About Guns." She references privacy laws that stop doctors from asking patients or their children about firearms or the use of firearms by family members. Dr. Robert Young of Doctors for Responsible Gun Ownership notes that doctors learn most from their patients, not their professional societies. The doctor writing the article freely admits she knows nothing about firearms. Young says that doctors must stick to the skills they know. Originally aired on the Sportsman Channel 8/22/14.
