On this double edition of the Deal of the Day, Cam Edwards first shares a story from Jacksonville, Florida, where 24-year-old Patrick Jones went on a crime spree before being shot and killed by a homeowner that he was trying to rob. Jones ripped down a home's front door and stole a television while the residents were home, and then ran down the street to the neighbor's house to rob them as well. Jones had an extensive criminal history including spending 6 months behind bars and arrests for burglary, car theft, aggravated battery, drug possession, and felony traffic offenses. The second story comes from Sarasota, Florida, where 20-year-old Rashad Steen faces three counts of attempted murder and one count of aggravated battery with a firearm after a triple shooting. Despite being just 20, Steen has 19 felony arrests to his name and a criminal history that began at age 10. Originally aired 12/14/2011.
