On this edition of Hero of the Day, Cam Edwards shares a story from Wichita, Kansas, where 32-year-old Miguel Waide was fired from his job as a Domino's delivery driver for defending himself with his firearm. Waide was going to a delivery at an apartment complex and when no one answered the door, he became suspicious and got his firearm out of his car. When a robber with a gun approached him and demanded his money, Waide fired two shots and the robber fled. Waide was then fired for violating company policy by carrying a firearm even though he does not face any criminal charges. Originally aired 12/1/2011.
