Despite criticism from pro-gun politicians and advocates, Governor Terry McAuliffe of Virginia has vowed that he will push forward with his gun control agenda. The package includes a return to a one-gun-a-month limit on purchases, revoking concealed carry permits for parents behind on child-support payments and expanded background checks.
