Gun control advocate Governor Terry McAuliffe of Virginia returned NRA-opposed SB 377, which would create a de facto firearms registration system for those selling, trading or transferring legally owned firearms to an FFL. The bill originally required that the data be destroyed within two weeks. The Governor's changes require a 90-day period, with no requirement to destroy. The bill has been voted down 23-15 in the House, but a vote remains in the Senate. David Adams, legislative committee chairman of the Virginia Shooting Sports Association, discusses the anti-gun legislation. Originally aired on the Sportsman Channel 4/23/14.
