Trenton Anderson, NRA Member and CSU student, discusses the issue. Recently, the Colorado State University (CSU) administration announced a proposal to overturn the current policy allowing licensed individuals the right to carry firearms on campus. So far, the student government has overwhelmingly voted in favor of keeping the problem-free six-year-old campus carry policy, though faculty has voted overwhelmingly in favor of the proposal to ban students from the right to self defense on campus. Anderson reports that the CSU has polarized on this issue. It is important that Colorado's NRA members voice their concerns to CSU President Tony Frank over the proposal to ban campus carry leading up to the Board of Governors hearing on February 23, 2010.
